The Sudanese Armed forces carried out airstrikes targeting the cities of Al-Daien, Al-Fasher, and Al-Tawisha in the Darfur Region and central Sudan, resulting in widespread destruction and dozens killed, with Al-Daien being the hardest hit. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched artillery strikes against on various civilian areas in Al-Fasher in retaliation, killing and wounding more.
The war continues after talks of a ceasefire under the Jeddah agreement signed in May 2023 were postponed after the U.S. and Egypt reportedly objected to the inclusion of members from Sudan's military intelligence in the Sudanese delegation, and the U.S envoy to Sudan returned to Switzerland. The Sudanese Armed Forces continue to refuse to take part in the talks.
2 - MYANMAR

The ruling junta’s military continues its war against the Arakan Army and allies in the Three Brotherhood Alliance. In Rakhine, a state in southern Myanmar, fighting has continued since last week as the Arakan Army continues its war to drive the junta forces out of the state. The Arakan Army is moving steadily southward, and the junta continues to send troop reinforcements to halt the advance of the Arakan Army.
