Israel still hasn’t responded to the Yemen-based Houthi cruise missile strike that happened on Friday. Last time the Houthis launched a similar attack - suicide drone that struck Tel Aviv in July - Israel struck the port of Hodeidah in Yemen in immediate retaliation.
The terrorist group Hezbollah, an Iranian proxy organization based north of Israel in Lebanon, still has a suspected 100,000+ guided and unguided rockets that they haven’t used yet. Israeli fighter jets struck rocket launching bases in Lebanon today, following Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s electronic device bombings. These strikes are likely the reason Israel has not responded to the Houthi attack yet.
Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, says that Israel’s pager and walkie-talkie bombings earlier this week “crossed all red lines” and that Hezbollah will retaliate. It’s important to note that Hezbollah itself has been launching rockets and other munitions at random into Israeli territory for almost a whole year, killing civilians and forcing the evacuation of more than 60,000 Israeli citizens.

The White House released a statement condemning the war in Sudan, and calling on both the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to withdraw their forces and negotiate an end to the war to begin to address the humanitarian crisis.
The Sudanese government welcomed the statement, saying they remain "resolute and fully committed to ending the suffering of our citizens."
Despite the calls for peace, violent battles have continued in North Darfur. The SAF bombed targets in eastern parts of El Fasher, as well as in the town of Mellit, El Dali, and El Gezira. The RSF responded with anti-aircraft missiles and heavy artillery shelling. At least 5 people were killed and more wounded in the recent attacks.
