Israeli special forces reportedly conducted a covert operation on an Iranian weapons facility in Masyaf, Syria on September 8. Details are as of yet unclear on the size of the counterattack and it's progress, but the apparently company-sized units still appear to be composed of conscripts and irregular Russian forces.
